As a high school senior, C.J. Toledano began doing stand-up in Erie, PA while traveling all over the Keystone area, performing in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and the greater Youngstown area. At the young age of 18, he was asked to open for Dave Chappelle at the Pittsburgh Improv. As a college student, he was a finalist of American Eagle's Campus Comedy Challenge and Rooftop Comedy's National College Comedy Competition, two years in a row. Eventually moving to Chicago, he went on to join the cast of locally-renowned comedy and variety showcase "The Lincoln Lodge." In the following years, he performed at all of the popular shows in Chicago including the late and lamented Lakeshore Theater and more recently the UP Comedy Club at Second City. He has worked with comedians such as Bo Burnham, Joel McHale, Todd Barry, Mike Birbiglia, Todd Barry, Jeff Garlin, Steve Byrne, Leo Allen, Nick Thune, and Reggie Watts, just to name a few. In 2012, C.J. was invited to perform at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the New Faces showcase at Just For Laughs Chicago. For more clips, visit
